Conflicts provide an opportunity to improve relationships and increase understanding. Managing conflicts successfully greatly enhances our quality of life, reduces stress, and gives us more self-confidence. This interactive workshop is an in-depth exploration of how to understand and transform conflicts in our daily lives. We will examine the roots of conflict, develop practical skills for effective communication and conflict management, and create plans for post-workshop study and practice. Topics to be covered in this workshop include:
    • Cultivating tools for clear and non-threatening communication;
    • Establishing ground rules that effectively deal with an imbalance of power;
    • Dealing effectively with difficult people and situations;
    • Examining conflict tendencies and reactive patterns and providing tools for managing them;
    • Practicing working with conflict, which may include a conflict you bring to work on in the workshop.
