Financial assistance for students is available through
SLM Financial (a Sallie Mae company). Students
apply for financial assistance for one academic year
at a time. Through SLM's Career Training Loan,
qualified students can borrow the total amount of
tuition as well as education-related expenses such as
books, residential fees, computer, and living expenses
(up to $6,000 above the cost of tuition).
For students
who do not qualify for the SLM loan program, financial
assistance may be available directly through the
Institute, primarily in the form of loans. The Institute
also makes grants available to eligible students. The
Institute considers all financial assistance requests
and works individually through the financial aid
process with each applicant accepted into the Institute's
graduate programs. Institute financial aid
awards are based on the student's financial need and
the availability of funds at the time of application.
Students are encouraged to explore all potential
sources of student loans or grants, such as those
offered through one's employer, as well as through
civic organizations, community groups, etc. Financial
aid awards are given for one academic year. Students
must submit a new application for each subsequent
year that financial assistance is requested.
